AFGAS is organising a double Field round on the 7th and 8th of June 2014. The contest will be held on be-MiNE, the old
Mine site of
Beringen. (Koolmijnlaan, 3580 Beringen)
24 Targets of known and unknown distances will be plotted on the old Mine site. You will find them on, under and in the old buildings and also on the Terril. There is a lot of hard work done on these rock hills, called terril.
They are slightly flattened, with the necessary paths and lined with green and trees.
The well walkable hill with maximum height of +/- 120 meter is an excellent site for placing challenging targets.

There will also be plenty of entertainement for all visitors.
There will be different stands where everyone can learn all about archery, even try to shoot some arrows,
of course under supervision of experienced Archers.
Also shooting the ArcTRAP will be possible, so instinctive responsiveness can be tested by everyone.
Also anyone can sign up for a guided tour on the old Mine site. Former miners take you through the site where you can get a good idea of the earlier work that were needed to mine the coal. The mine site of Beringen is the best
preserved of the region, there is also a nice museum.
